Under the auspices of the World Food Programme, Bioversity and CIAT recruited Scriptoria Solutions for end-to-end implementation of major components of the Response Analysis for Climate Adaptation suite of studies.
This effort employed a tri-fold research approach across the various livelihood zones of each country: expository research, informant workshops and interviews, and climate change and economic modeling.
Isabelle Le Marois and the Scriptoria Solutions team supported Bioversity and CIAT in developing work plans, report outlines, and stakeholder workshop materials in English and French; implemented research-side project management; completed all expository research for four of the nine countries in the study in English or French; conducted dozens of workshops and interviews for five of the nine countries in French; translated the climate modeling teams’ findings into French; and conducted copyediting and referencing for all nine final reports in English or French.
The work was completed in careful alignment with local World Food Programme offices and national governments throughout 2021. The final reports identify regions where multiple economic, climate, and contextual risks coincide, and offer opportunities and recommendations for climate-proofing current programs, improving programmatic integration, and scoping potential partnership opportunities for programmatic optimization.
The reports were published in April 2022 and are available here.
Well done! I'm really impressed.
