Written Progress principal Megan Mayzelle was recently featured as a guest on the Expat Pod, a podcast hosted by fellow expat and sustainability enthusiast James Doran.
The Expat Pod centers the experiences of people who have chosen to make their home in a country other than where they were born and raised. (ICYMI: Megan is an American citizen who lived in Paraguay for 3 years and now spends time in Montpellier, France!) Given that James is an engineer who helps develop electric vehicles, he and Megan connect on the level of being expats who deeply care for the environment.
But this interview is a glimpse at Megan’s day-to-day life, including some of the ways in which culture informs her relationship to food, dance, and even walking her dog. The Expat Pod is a great source of wisdom (and hyper-practical tips) that’ll help you make a smooth transition into a world outside your own! If you’ve ever considered living abroad, or just want to get to know another side of our intrepid leader, make sure to give this a listen!
And, as always, feel free to get in touch with the expat herself.
